Bach to Rock is seeking a skilled Drum Instructor to join our team of music educators. As a Drum Instructor, you will provide private and semi-private lessons to students of all ages, using our proprietary curriculum and cover song arrangements.

• Teach private and semi-private lessons, creating an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere
• Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble
• Assist at school events, both on and off-site
• May repair equipment as needed and able

• Demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
• Have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument
• Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
• Experienced performer (either solo or group)
• Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians
• Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Compensation begins at $18/hr
• We are looking for someone with availability at least 3 days a week
• Cannot teach at another music lessons facility within 5 miles of our location

Bach to Rock offers a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. We handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing, and other business aspects of the lessons and group classes, so you can focus on teaching. Our hourly rate is based on education, experience, expertise, and availability.
