Job Overview

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

  • Employment Type: Travel

Previous staff members are not eligible for this position. The role requires flexibility, including availability for every other weekend and holiday, with no on-call responsibilities. A minimum of 2 years of experience is mandatory, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Additional requirements include:

  • 8 total Stroke contact hours, including NIHSS (can be obtained prior to the start date)
  • Experience with Trach care, Bariatrics, Nocturnal vents, and Stroke care
  • Willingness to float to other locations within skillset

The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:5 for SD/PCU and 1:6 if floated to acute care, depending on staffing needs. Experience with Cerner Charting is essential.

Education classes during the onboarding week are mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome. Navy blue scrubs are required.
