We are seeking a 1L or 2L law student to join our team for a summer internship program. This role will provide exposure to corporate contracts and compliance. Duties include assisting with contract development, interpretation, review, and management.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing contract proposals, contracts, and addenda for various services and equipment
Maintaining and creating contract reporting and analysis
Assembling and reviewing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and bids
Drafting and revising Business Associates Agreements (BAA) to ensure accuracy and HIPAA compliance
Tracking vendor-related agreements
Maintaining and drafting corporate property leases and addenda
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled law student - 1L or 2L student
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Legal or Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred
Requirements:
- Relevant legal or contracting experience in a corporate environment required
- Ability to work proficiently in MS Windows and Office applications environment (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize and be flexible
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
- Exceptional teamwork mindset and ability to work with a variety of people at all levels
