Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions to develop, recover, or maintain their daily living and work skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to support their engagement in occupations that promote health, well-being, and life quality.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to educate them on adaptive equipment, home modifications, and strategies to promote independence.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' homes and environments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for modifications.
  • Develop and implement training programs for clients, families, and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment and strategies to promote independence.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
