Position: Strategic Communications Specialist for PEO STRI PM TRADE

The selected individual will report directly to the Program Manager of PM TRADE and will play a crucial role in communicating strategies to enhance the visibility of PM TRADE programs, products, and events. This will involve the development, coordination, and dissemination of various communication media, including videos, photographs, and articles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate effective communication strategies to elevate PM TRADE programs, products, and events.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of PM TRADE communication materials, including videos, photos, and articles.
  • Generate content for mass media, the PM TRADE Live Training Transformation website, and other relevant platforms, including articles and press releases.
  • Support the communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership within PM TRADE to appropriate audiences.
  • Prepare and coordinate communication materials for trade shows, conferences, and symposiums, including notable events in the training and simulation industry.
  • Document events through photography, videography, and audio recording at various military training activities.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • A Master's degree in a communications-related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Several years of experience in communications or media roles, ideally within Department of Defense or military-related environments.
  • Experience with the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation is advantageous.
  • Willingness to access and travel to military installations as necessary for communication duties.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army installation Public Affairs Offices is essential.
  • This is a Full-Time position (40 hours per week).
  • Work will be conducted in a hybrid model, combining in-office and telework as mission requirements dictate.
