Job Overview

Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000/year

Position Summary:

  • Ensure the accuracy of bid tabulations, field erection labor, and calculations.
  • Conduct tax assessments, including Tectura fees and bonding requirements.
  • Prepare detailed itemizations as necessary.
  • Review front-end documents and instructions for bidders to ensure compliance with submission standards.
  • Draft bid forms and correspondence for bidding processes.
  • Distribute sealed bids post-review by the estimator.
  • Input job data into SAGE software.
  • Manage cloud-based file systems for various projects.
  • Support in pricing quotes, coordinating freight, establishing bid tabs, and analyzing specifications and drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of Requests for Quotation (RFQ), including project documentation and front-end reviews.
  • Compile prequalification documents.
  • Issue Requests for Proposals (RFP) to suppliers.
  • Perform additional related tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple ongoing projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with sales and estimating teams.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints.
  • Experience with AIA documentation is advantageous.
