Job Summary

The Columbia VA Health Care System is seeking a skilled Podiatry Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct rounds, and perform procedures in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and obtain and interpret relevant studies, including labs and radiologic studies
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient Podiatry procedures, including routine foot care for veterans at risk of limb loss
  • Admit, discharge, or transfer patients as needed, and document updates in the Electronic Medical Record
  • Evaluate veterans in the outpatient clinic for conservative and/or surgical management of foot and ankle pathology
Requirements
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Completion of residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
