InGenesis is seeking skilled Surgical Technicians/OR Techs to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a sterile member of the surgical team, passing instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
- Process, sterilize, and package surgical instrumentation with proficiency.
- Anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments, provide sterile items efficiently, and practice aseptic technique.
- Transport patients to the OR safely and screen them before transport.
- Document patient care and progress, performing direct patient care procedures.
- Ensure quality assurance/risk management and respond to breaches of standard procedures that compromise patients or staff.
- Current certification from the NBSTSA, NCCT, or its successor as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross (ARC).
- 1st shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm
- 2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm
- 3rd shift: 11:45pm - 7:15am
- 4th shift: 10:45am - 7:15pm
- 10-hr shift: 6:45am - 5:15pm
- Weekend Day shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm
- Weekend Night shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am
