AFC Urgent Care in South Portland is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment is in working order daily, prior to first patient use, adhering to quality control policies.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, utilizing proper shielding materials and following established radiation safety policies.
  • Take x-rays, recording each procedure and initial read by physician, and ensuring analysis by teleradiology vendor.
  • Patient triaging, medical assisting tasks, and administrative duties, including greeting and registering patients, answering phone calls, and other tasks.
Requirements:
  • Friendly, professional, and hard-working attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Dependable, able to multitask, and a team player.
  • ARRT certification.
