Position Overview:


Are you looking for a non-travel opportunity in the field of radiology? Medix is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to become a valuable member of our team in DeSoto, TX.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing their concerns.
  • Position patients correctly and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients during the procedure and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret images and assist in diagnoses.
  • Maintain knowledge of technological advancements and updates in the field of MRI imaging.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Certification in MRI technology from an accredited program.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and understanding imaging techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients effectively.
  • Attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and commitment to patient safety.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with medical professionals effectively.
