We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Lakeview Hospital. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with established clinical practice standards and hospital guidelines.
- Expertly operate various equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow established surveillance, prevention, and control of infection policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in cardiac ultrasound or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
