Position Overview
This role involves the execution of technical planning, system integration, and comprehensive analyses to ensure the effectiveness and supportability of total systems. The engineer will engage in:
  • Functional Analysis: Conducting detailed evaluations to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Verification and Validation: Ensuring that all systems meet the required standards and specifications throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and analyzing potential risks associated with system operations.

The engineer will specifically focus on Knowledge Management (KM) related to the inactivation of naval vessels, while also contributing to other KM and Risk Management initiatives across various programs.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited program, along with relevant experience in the field. A Master's Degree may substitute for some experience.

Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong independent working capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, including management, engineering, and technical trades.
