Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- A valid nursing license in North Carolina is mandatory.
- Preferred: One year of relevant nursing experience.
- Advanced training as required by the department.
The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role in the healthcare team at POH by establishing a genuine, personalized connection with patients and their support systems. Collaborating with physicians and team members, the nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans that promote optimal health or facilitate a peaceful transition. Utilizing evidence-based practices and compassion, the nurse guides patients through their health journeys. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management and delivery of care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
