Key Responsibilities:
  • Design pipeline facilities, including metering and regulating stations, storage field upgrades, and compressor stations.
  • Perform relief valve capacity calculations and size regulators and control valves.
  • Lead coordination of design activities with other disciplines.
  • Mark up as-built drawings, alignment sheets, and P&IDs.
  • Regularly meet and correspond with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Provide short-term field support during construction.
  • Proactively improve technical skills and stay up to date with new technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
  • 3-6 years related engineering experience in the natural gas industry.
  • Completed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or registered PE.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with gas measurement/regulation design.
  • Oil & Gas construction experience (desired).
  • Working knowledge of GIS software (desired).
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong focus on safe work practices.
  • Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in technical subjects.
  • Proficiency with 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8.
