At Amazon Stores, we're looking for a skilled Mechatronics and Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.

About the Role:

You will use your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment (MHE). Your responsibilities will include conducting preventative maintenance routines, mentoring junior technicians, and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE
  • Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility
  • Track and store department inventory
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge
  • Demonstrated Safety Standards
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
