We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team at Tampa General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as instructed by physicians.
- Perform technical aspects of nursing care within established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Department Director and Nursing Director to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Conduct patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Two years' experience as an RN with ICU experience.
- Completion of 500 hours PCI certified working in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital with an Open Heart Surgery program.
- Current STATE Nursing license; BLS and ACLS certification required.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $28.88 per hour. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our Brooksville location.
