Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Automation Engineer to join our Industrial Refrigeration engineering team. As a CAD Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, reviewing, testing, and implementing various product configurators and workflow enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of CAD principles and practices to automate workflows
  • Coordinate with and support technical team members with automation and engineering integration tools
  • Collaborate closely with software development and other teams to understand project requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CAD automation scripts and tools to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience
  • Document CAD and engineering automation workflows, configurations, and implementation details to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer among team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 5+ years of related experience
  • Some 3D CAD design experience (e.g., Inventor, Creo, Solidworks, Fusion 360 or similar)
  • Some experience with VBA, VB.net, C#, Python, lisp, or similar
  • Experience with database systems such as Microsoft Access, and SQL Server
  • Fluent with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with thermodynamics and the refrigeration cycle
  • Experience with electrical design and schematics
  • Desire to work on an international team
  • Programming/Automation experience (e.g., Excel VBA, VB.net, C#, Python, or similar)
  • Git, Azure and ASP.Net
Work Location

First 3 months - 75%-100% On Site - Waynesboro, PA Office

After first 3 months - Flexible Hybrid Policy of On-Site/Remote Working as needed
