Position SummaryThe RN OR Specialty Team Lead will assume a leadership role within the assigned surgical services line. This position entails providing professional nursing care in the intraoperative environment, with responsibilities extending to pre-operative and post-anesthesia care as needed. Key duties include:
- Anticipating physician needs and maintaining preference cards.
- Training new staff members.
- Coordinating with Supply Chain Management, Environmental Services, and Central Sterile Processing to ensure adequate supply levels.
- Scrubbing and circulating as required.
- Collaborating with physicians to understand preferences regarding room setup and operating conditions.
Please note that on-call duties are a requirement for this position, and candidates must reside within a specified radius.
QualificationsMinimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years of operating room experience
Preferred Experience: 5 years of operating room experience
Required Certifications: Current RN license in Arizona or a compact state
Preferred Certifications: CNOR
Special Skills: Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate diplomacy while learning and applying physician preferences in the work environment.
