We are seeking an Application Engineer with expertise in integrated manufacturing to enhance project support for our client, a renowned leader in supply chain optimization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration and development of applications and solutions throughout all lifecycle phases.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to design, prototype, and evaluate automation products and components.
  • Define and gather requirements for systems improvements, focusing on Cognex and Keyence technologies.
  • Configure and program custom PLC and HMI software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes, including control systems, setup, changeover, and workflow enhancements.
  • Design and develop mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in response to new product and process requirements.
  • Communicate project status and test results effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and contractual obligations during project implementation.
  • Document requirements and system behaviors, ensuring clarity in functional, performance, usability, and safety aspects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Keyence or Cognex integration in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI programming, and related hardware; mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with systems management and operational efficiency goals.
  • Understanding of safety practices and continuous improvement methodologies; certifications in safety are a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
