Nurse Leader Opportunity at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our care team at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for supervising the care and services provided by our LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members who care for our residents.

Estimated Salary: $63,000 - $83,000 per year based on experience. Our competitive pay starts at $36/hour with NO experience, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

As a Nurse Leader at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon, you will have the opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and become a leader in our organization. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care and services tailored to their individual needs.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise the care and services provided by the LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members.
  • Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all residents are assigned staff capable of providing appropriate care.
  • Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
  • Assess the health of residents and notify the physician of changes in status, promptly implementing new orders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • ADN or BSN degree.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing.
