Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive customer experience. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and resolving issues. Perform various cleaning tasks, including trash collection, floor maintenance, and equipment movement. Deep clean high-traffic areas and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff. Collaborate with the team to achieve store goals and maintain a positive, respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
  • Deliver friendly customer service, helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
Additional Duties
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
