Bellperson Job Description

Omni Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled Bellperson to provide exceptional guest services and ensure a memorable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly and personalized assistance to guests, including luggage handling and transportation.
  • Be knowledgeable about local attractions and points of interest to make recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with reservations, airline ticket requests, and other guest needs.
  • Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guest rooms and executive offices.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas and the bell closet.
  • Follow up with guest complaints to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Arrange special requests for guests, including flowers, rental cars, and sightseeing tours.
  • Utilize bell carts effectively and safely.
  • Ensure 100% coverage of the floor, including the Front Desk.
  • Direct guests to the Front Desk or meeting rooms.
  • Call taxis and/or shuttle services as needed.
  • Assist with luggage retrieval and loading.
  • Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals.
  • Engage with guests to provide a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience, with hotel experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, and move, push, and pull objects weighing up to 200 lbs without assistance.
