We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at EXP. As a key member of our Mining team, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical services to our clients, including geotechnical modeling, analysis, and design.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare proposals for geotechnical services, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Provide geotechnical related services to the Mine Waste unit, including geotechnical modeling, analysis, and design.
- Conceptualize, design, and implement tailings and mine waste facilities.
- Manage projects to achieve client objectives, including briefing and control of staff and contractors.
- Direct field activities, including investigation, monitoring, and testing services.
- Review and interpret monitoring information from geotechnical instrumentation programs.
- Carry out analysis of data, including computer analysis.
- Write and review technical reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering, with a post-graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical engineering, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
- 5 years of experience with Tailings, Dam, and Mine waste.
- PE required.
- Management experience, including development of comprehensive scopes of work and budgetary control.
