Job Overview:

Location: Not specified

Practice Setting: Hospital

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (no on-call duties required)

Coverage Requirements: Preference for one week per month

Daily Patient Volume: 35-50 across combined OR/CVOR/Endoscopy; typically, MDs manage 1:2 or 1:3

Support Staff: Comprehensive OR support staff available

EMR Systems: Medaxion, Meditech/Patientkeeper

Case Types: General, colorectal, urology, vascular, light ENT, light neuro/spine, endoscopy suite, cath lab

Exclusions: No cardiac or pediatric cases

Requirements:

  • Current State Medical License - Florida
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible with relevant experience
  • DEA/CSR compliance required
  • 250 case logs and current continuing education units (CEUs) necessary
