Job Summary

The CAT Scan Technologist operates computerized Tomography equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This position requires a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized Tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
  • Provide patient care in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments
  • Meet experience and education requirements, including a graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or Computerized Tomography
  • Hold relevant certifications, such as Registered Technologist for Radiography and/or Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical experience in Radiology, preferred
  • Graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or Computerized Tomography, required
  • Relevant certifications, such as Registered Technologist for Radiography and/or Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology, required
Work Schedule

This position requires a Monday-Thursday schedule from 6:30pm-4:30am, with weekend and call requirements as needed.
