Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of a Bloomingdale's Sales Professional is to motivate and assist customers in transforming their style into a source of creative energy. Sales Professionals embody the Bloomingdale's customer experience through engaging conversations, ensuring a welcoming and inquisitive atmosphere that fosters human connections during the shopping journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers, both in-store and online, while cultivating strong relationships.
  • Drive sales by effectively engaging with clients and utilizing technology to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Contribute to merchandising and operational tasks as required by the role.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructional documents, including safety guidelines and procedural manuals.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position necessitates extended periods of standing and walking throughout the store.
  • May require reaching, crouching, kneeling, and color vision.
  • Frequent use of technology, including computers and handheld devices, is essential for job functions.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
