Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in women patients. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography examinations, including screening and diagnostic exams
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging processes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all patients
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Mammography
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
