Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a master-agent architecture to facilitate ETL pipelines.
  • Design and implement APIs adhering to REST best practices.
  • Create and execute automated testing protocols.

  • Engage in infrastructure evaluations to pinpoint best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere to established practices and project guidelines, including source code management, automated testing, deployment strategies, and thorough documentation.

  • Architect and develop applications that support both internal and external communications.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing production applications.
  • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) or in-house data centers.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Ability to comprehend various system-to-system interface types and design solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts and solutions, particularly in big data engineering, including experience with Apache Spark.
  • Strong understanding of relational database systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Web development experience, including JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with streaming and queuing frameworks such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Palantir.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving, particularly in diagnosing issues related to platform functionality or data pipelines.
  • Effective communication skills, especially in translating functional requirements into technical solutions and coordinating across both technical and non-technical teams.
