Job Overview

The Scientific Division at Pride Global is collaborating with a leading diagnostic firm to find a suitable candidate for a temporary Laboratory Technician position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist laboratory professionals by performing various routine laboratory tasks
  • Handle specimen receiving and processing
  • Conduct routine maintenance on laboratory instruments
  • Execute centrifugation of specimens, manage label printing, record data, and oversee specimen storage and retrieval
  • Prepare necessary reagents
  • Carry out QA/QC responsibilities as directed
  • Ensure a tidy and organized work environment
  • Fulfill additional tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Preferred background in math and science coursework – this is an entry-level role with training provided.
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Effective critical thinking skills

Additional Information:

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced laboratory setting
  • Flexible shifts available during the week.
    • Shifts: 8pm-6:30am for 4 days a week or 10pm-6:30am for 5 days a week, including rotating weekends and holidays
  • Contract duration: 3 months
  • Compensation range: $18-20/hr based on experience.

Authorization to work in the United States is required.
