Dietary Supervisor

Responsibilities

* Ensure the preparation and serving of high-quality food to patients and staff in accordance with standardized procedures and recipes provided by the Dietician.
* Collaborate with the Facility Director/Manager to optimize the use of leftovers, menu changes, and substitutions.
* Assist in the preparation of special employee and/or catering functions, and lead the kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and sanitized work environment.
* Utilize kitchen tools, appliances, and equipment effectively and safely.

Qualifications

* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Three (3) years' cooking experience, with prior experience as a Supervisor in a fast-paced setting; experience in a healthcare facility and/or behavioral healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
* Industrial food preparation experience is preferred, along with basic knowledge of modified diets, serving principles, and training in food services sanitation.
* Safe Serve certification is preferred, and prior kitchen supervisory experience is highly valued.
