Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Supervisor in our Gastroenterology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting the manager with daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Direct provision of patient care
- Assist manager with daily operations, including coordination of patient care and outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development, and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements
- Support manager in utilizing systematic approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred
- BLS required per policy guidelines
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader
