Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures set forth by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Ensure the safety and quality of food and beverages in accordance with hotel and franchise standards.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and uphold departmental standards and procedures.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns related to beverage service.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager and other department staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Daily Tasks

Your daily responsibilities will include taking orders, preparing, and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as light meals, to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operational manuals.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or food safety training is advantageous.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is preferred.
  • Understanding of food and beverage cost control measures.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and activities that may interest guests.
