We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Veterinarian to join our team at Lincoln Park Zoo. As a member of our strong preventive medicine program, you will work closely with our experienced veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care to our animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform veterinary procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Support shipment and quarantine procedures, controlled drug inventory compliance, and wildlife triage
  • Collaborate with our ACZM-compliant and ECZM-approved veterinary residency program
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certifications
Requirements
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in zoo, aquarium, wildlife, or zoological companion specialty practices
  • ACZM board certification or eligibility within 3 years of hire
