Job Summary:
Penn State Health seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner to provide exceptional care to victims of sexual assault. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering timely, non-judgmental, and compassionate care.

About the Role:
This is a per diem opportunity with varied shifts in the Emergency Department at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide medical-forensic exams, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform medical-forensic exams, including collecting evidence and providing care to patients
* Administer prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections as needed
* Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
* Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as required

Requirements:
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
* AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period
* Completion of SANE Adolescent/Adult training within 30 days of being assigned online modules, with completion within 60 days of hire
