We are currently seeking a Registered Nutrition Specialist to join our esteemed Nutrition Team within an acute care medical facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including thorough nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
  • Adhere to all guidelines as specified in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards set forth by federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as needed.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure required where applicable.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
