Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Day Porter to join our team at our Rosmont, Illinois location. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day building maintenance and cleaning tasks, working closely with management to create an effective cleaning schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Complete minor repairs and building improvements
  • Monitor, clean, and service washrooms
  • Respond to major spills or other cleaning crises
  • Help with putting away orders daily and breaking down boxes
  • Perform various cleaning duties, including vacuuming, polishing, dusting, and dishwashing
  • Obtain an Illinois Food Handler's certification
Requirements
  • Two years' previous experience preferred
  • Restaurant experience helpful but not required
  • Must be able to stand for 9 hours
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Professional and accurate communication
  • Command of the English language
