Access Services is seeking dedicated and empathetic Community Support Specialists to join our In Home Supports team, available for both full-time and part-time roles.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting adults with developmental disabilities and Autism in maintaining their desired living conditions. Your daily contributions will foster independence, personal development, and overall health. The primary goal is to provide exceptional care tailored to each individual’s needs. No previous experience is necessary, as Access Services provides comprehensive paid training.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through various tasks, activities, and community involvement.
- Executing the individual’s care plan, which includes crisis intervention, emotional support, and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Maintaining thorough documentation for the individuals in your care.
- Engaging in supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle during work hours.
- A U.S. driver's license must have been held for at least two years.
- Must be listed as a driver on an active auto insurance policy.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay Structure:
- The starting hourly wage for Community Support Specialists is $17, with potential raises based on qualifications.
