Delivering Excellence in ER Care

At BayCare Health System, we're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our care team, you'll provide top-notch care to patients, utilizing your expertise and compassion to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, promoting efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Organize and prioritize patient care plans, collaborating with patients, families, and significant others to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Identify patients at risk for injury, preparing the room environment to ensure patient safety.
  • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments, responding to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Utilize high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology and concepts for patients.
  • Demonstrate professional accountability and development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's, or Higher in Nursing
  • 1-year experience in the emergency department
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification with the American Heart Association
