We are seeking a highly skilled IT Backup and Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team at Centre Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing technical skill areas across all lines of business for our customers. Your primary focus will be on backup/restore and disaster recovery services and solutions for Centre customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be technical owner of all aspects of backup and disaster recovery solutions, vendors, and systems.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry standards and changes to keep Centre solutions relevant.
  • Drive best practices and industry standards into Centre process and customer environments.
  • Collaborate with all Centre lines of business to ensure compliance and direction for standards.
  • Comply with all Centre process and maintain Centre's successful posture for SOC2 Type II compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience.
  • Certifications – Zerto (any), Veeam (any), Azure AZ-305 (preferred), AZ-104 (preferred).
  • Backup / DR strategies (Architect, Implementation and Administration).
Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Working from office environment in a hybrid workforce schedule. Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities/injuries to perform the essential functions of this role. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Infrequent local travel is required.
