Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and advanced airway management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan individual patient care, taking into account patient age and medical history.
  • Provide respiratory care, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and bronchial hygiene.
  • Calibrate, clean, and maintain patient-related equipment and instruments.
  • Participate in in-house educational in-services and attend outside seminars and workshops as requested.
  • Participate in various department tasks, including audits, quality assurance, and statistical record keeping.
Requirements
  • Accredited Respiratory Care Program required.
  • Must pass the NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Preferred: experience in ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics.
  • Required: Respiratory Care Practitioner - Oregon.
  • Required within 6 months: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support and ACLS certification required.
