Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate French teacher to join our World Language Department. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native fluency in French, an educational background in World Language Pedagogy and/or French, and a commitment to maintaining a culture of positive communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
About the Position
The successful candidate will teach four classes of introductory French across grades 6-8 from mid-February through early June. We value a candidate who is kid-centered, embraces school and life, and demonstrates a desire and willingness to constantly grow and learn.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in French
- An educational background in World Language Pedagogy and/or French preferred
- A commitment to maintaining a culture of positive communication with students, colleagues, and parents
- A genuine interest and passion for working with students
- A commitment to building and sustaining inclusive learning spaces
