Job Summary

The Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts and assembling finished products according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and Preparation
    • Complete work area setup and ensure all necessary tools and materials are available.
  • Assembly and Fabrication
    • Fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications.
    • Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Ensure work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
    • Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report any problems or concerns.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance
    • Maintain production records as required.
    • Check materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
