Automotive Alignment Technician

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Scottsboro, AL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles using the latest equipment.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure proper alignment.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as needed.
• Complete other required automotive services or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
• Lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
