Job Summary

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver the best possible nursing care in our patient-focused settings. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a close-knit team focused on fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  2. Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgeons to ensure seamless patient care from preop to recovery.
  3. Work in a 20-bed pre/post room unit admitting patients for general surgeries, GI, cardiac, and pulmonary procedures, as well as discharging patients from same-day surgeries.
  4. Provide care for patients of all ages receiving anesthesia in our 14-bed PACU unit.
  5. Participate in self-scheduling with a variety of 8- and 12-hour shifts available.
About Recovery

Our nursing team thrives on collaboration, valuing the importance of teamwork to deliver exceptional patient care. We work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are crucial. Our team is closely integrated with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgeons to ensure seamless patient care from preop to recovery.

This position may be eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. If you are an experienced nurse looking to work fewer weekends on a unit that is fast-paced and cares for all age groups, then this new position is right for you.
