Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical staff in various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care services, including vital signs, bathing, and positioning, under the supervision of licensed nurses.
  • Assist with clerical and receptionist duties, such as answering phones and processing patient information.
  • Support clinical staff with patient service coordination, including preparing patients for procedures and transporting them to and from departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification issued by the State of Idaho or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience as a CNA in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent.
