Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, to address their specific communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommended strategies.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a team.
