We are seeking a Part-Time Nights Nurse to join our team at Friendship Village, a premier Life Plan Community in St. Louis. As a Part-Time Nights Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents in a 24-hour operation and delegate and supervise the care provided by nursing assistants.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in assisting in the daily operation of the nursing department in accordance with current nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Provide nursing care to residents as assigned, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities, and promoting independent lifestyles.
- Initiate individual plans of care based on health care goals, physician's orders, and nursing assessments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for resident comfort and convenience.
- Respond to all call lights promptly and maintain continuous communication with physicians and D.O.N.
A licensed nurse with a current State of Missouri license is required. If you are a motivated and caring individual with a strong positive attitude toward customer service, we encourage you to apply.
