Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor is to warmly welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner. This role involves registering guests, providing prompt service throughout their stay, resolving any issues that arise, and ensuring a smooth checkout process while offering a pleasant farewell.

This position also entails auditing accounts to confirm accuracy and preparing final reports for management, thereby maximizing room revenue and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with AURO Hotels' standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming environment, greeting each guest with sincerity, and maintaining high service standards.
  2. Utilize operational and sales techniques to optimize occupancy rates and achieve the highest possible average rates, while ensuring staff adherence to these practices.
  3. Manage cash handling according to accounting guidelines and maintain accurate financial records.
  4. Facilitate effective communication within the Front Office and across all hotel departments, staying informed about operational matters.
  5. Adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a secure environment for both guests and staff.
  6. Understand and operate front office technology, including telephone systems and computer equipment.
  7. Complete the registration process efficiently, confirming guest details and processing payments in line with established procedures.
  8. Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, documenting solutions and keeping management informed of any issues.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Relevant experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Licenses & Certifications: Relevant certifications may be required.
