Sales Lead Job Description

Sundance Catalog is seeking a skilled Sales Lead to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service in our Tigard, OR store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong presence and demonstrate exceptional sales skills to drive sales and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service by asking open-ended questions, assessing customer needs, and offering products that support or relate to their needs.
  • Tell the product story, features, and benefits of jewelry and merchandise.
  • Listen to customers and use their feedback to improve service levels.
  • Inform customers of our website and catalog, offering to put them on our mailing list.
  • Consistently exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
  • Seek product knowledge on new and core goods and openly share information.
  • Open and close the store.
  • Maintain visual integrity of the store by participating in housekeeping, including regular cleaning and dusting.
  • Replenish merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding loss prevention.
  • Consistently adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Receive and place merchandise, ensuring that all merchandise is correctly tagged.
  • Assist with coaching and directing employees.
  • Resolve employee and customer issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED required, Associates degree preferred.
  • Previous supervisory/lead experience preferred.
  • At least 6 months experience with a premium brand retailer.
  • Experience in an environment where customer service is highly regarded.
  • Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of all functions of the POS (point of sale), kiosk, and iPad system.
