Job Summary

The Patient Care Tech plays a vital role in the patient care services team, providing technical and direct patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. With primary responsibilities assigned based on patient needs, skill level, and abilities, this position requires individuals to work with adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course required; previous acute care experience preferred
  • Minimum age of 17 years required
Specific Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is mandatory for this position. Additionally, CPR training from the American Heart Association (AHA) as a Healthcare Provider is also required.
